Corner Kerb / Pavement lifted due to huge lorry mounting kerb.
Reported via iOS in the Pavements/Cycleway category by Lou Judd at 15:13, Saturday 31 January 2026
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8808937.
Broken kerb / pavement out side Renoufs wine bar. Due to huge lorry (that should not have come down this road - Romsey Road) attempting to turn down highstreet. Too big. Had to mount kerb. In doing so kerb has been damaged, weight pushed into road lifted back of kerb and pavement. Now is very dangerous to pedestrians in the high street. Especially as on a corner, where people cross the road.

Hopefully this is work in progress and not the final result of fixing the problem. As this is unacceptable if this is the finished result. Please advise.
Thanks
