Reported the state of this road under FixMyStreet ref: 8701316, which was flagged as "fixed" about 20 minutes after being marked as " in progress" today, 31st January 2026. No work has been done and the road is pretty dangerous to motorists, cyclists, horse riders, and just about anyone else who might use it - full of potholes, sunken road surface, great gouges and lumps that'll rip someone's exhaust system off! What a total farce and failure. Glad I pay my tax, vehicle excise duty, council tax etc and see such poor levels of return. Go back and actually do some repairs

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
