  • I can't believe this hasn't received a temporary fix as a matter of urgency. I hit this in the dark and 45 mph and other than being thrown sideways I didn't have any identifiable damage but the force was at a level to cause suspension and / or steering damage. I initially wrote to Lechlade council think a few buckets of as dug gravel would make it safer in the short term, but like every council I've ever contacted, the answer is 'no my problem guv'.

  • This hole is still there. It appears that the top layer of road surface has disintegrated. Dangerous for cyclists!

  • Still not fixed. This is dangerous. Causing damage to vehicles.

  • This is getting bigger daily and is extremely dangerous on a 50mph

  • At the 22nd of February this is still here and is huge. You have to swerve to miss this and in the dark is very hard to see

  • I pass this several times a week and nothing is being done. I've now reported to Gloucestershire Police as I believe action is needed to avoid a serious accident. I'll update with any progress made The council obviously needs a kick up the rear. This system makes it way too easy for reports to be ignored.

  • Thanks but if investigating took almost a month how long will Action take to Schedule and completed. ?

  • It’s ridiculous that’s it’s taken this long to investigate, considering this issue was obviously there even before it caused damage to my car. Assuming from the timescale it took to actually investigate it, will likely be another month before it is fixed

  • We are now well into April and this still has not been repaired. This is a complete and utter disgrace. You need to pull your finger out before an accident happens.

  • Ok...action is scheduled, so what is the action and when is it scheduled for? I suppose it could be to refresh the red paint surrounding the hole, sometimes before Christmas, being careful not to provide the year?

    So date and description please!!
