Significant flooding

Reported via mobile in the Drainage category anonymously at 09:20, Saturday 31 January 2026

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8806457.

Very significant flooding is occurring after every rainfall on what is a blind bend. The flood can stretch out across most of the road causing traffic to swerve to the opposite side, risking collision with traffic from the opposite direction coming around a second bend, in addition the embankment/verge is collapsing away and it’s now impossible to see where the edge of the road is and numerous new potholes forming along the whole stretch of bends. It’s a badly lit area, used extensively by cyclists too and in terrible condition. There is also a crossing point for walkers right on the bend into the Buckland Rings Hillfort. It’s amazing a serious accident hasn’t happened yet.
