Dangerous crossing

Sent to Newport Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8801929.

When crossing here, someone was standing in the way of the red and green man which was situated very close to where you cross. The light was completely obscured. I had to begin crossing and was almost hit by a car. Please can these dangerous crossings be changed so the red and green man is on the opposite side of the road, as at present Newport is not accessible at all for disabled people
