EHJ 237P - old car, untaxed, rusting away, would never be safe to drive, front light missing
Reported via desktop in the Abandoned vehicle category anonymously at 11:08, Friday 30 January 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8800878.
Good afternoon We have three vehicles which have been parked up in Letchworth Drive for well over 2 months and not moved. This is obvious to anyone looking, as the dirt below the vehicles and rusted brakes. It is thought that they are owned by someone abroad, who lives locally a few weeks a year and seems to use the road to store his rubbish. The vehicles are filled with junk and obviously never driven.

We have investigated this report and found the vehicle to be taxed; a taxed vehicle is a strong indicator of an interested party and therefore the vehicle is not considered to be abandoned at this time and no further action will be taken. You can check the tax status of a vehicle online via: https://www.gov.uk/ check-vehicle-tax. Insurance or MOT issues should be directed to the Police as Bromley do not have the statutory powers to deal with this type of offence.
State changed to: No further action
