The drain is blocked problem

Reported in the The drain is blocked category by Gloucestershire County Council at 14:32, Thursday 29 January 2026

FixMyStreet ref: 8799671.

Due to my not being very well - I have been phoned this morning by neighbours to advise the ditch has overflowed AGAIN.

The added features are that a lot of water is flowing down Ham Lane as well (probably from a ditch blockage further up as well as what is coming off Ham Hill.

The however though is that the TARMAC has lifted just before the drain on the corner (Where the narrow pipe is!)

As we have been getting a lot of delivery vehicles down the lane and a neighbour is going to have removal vehicles here today as well as other larger deliveries elsewhere, can you please have the problem inspected as quickly as possible as it looks like it needs a lot more that just jetting out the blockage!

No doubt the neighbours down the bottom of the lane will have damage caused from the water that flows down the road and tries to exit trough the bank there an not via the gutter in that area.
