Dangerous wall at risk of falling on pedestians

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/Cycleway category anonymously at 12:46, Thursday 29 January 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8794658.

I am very concerned about a leaning wall (10°) that is in danger of falling onto pedestrians.

This wall borders the pavement to the rear of some Gibbs Way Gardens on Monteagle way.

The wall has worsened after it was partially demolished and damaged by vandals some years ago. With recent heavy rainfall it appears to be leaning even more.

The pavement is regularly used by the elderly, children, Parents with push chairs and disabled. I fear that there is a severe risk of it falling and causing severe injury or death to pedestrians.

The extremely delapidated fences of a couple of Gibbs Way gardens add o the risk and are extremely unsightly.

I believe this needs urgent rectification as a matter of public
