Gas main works on OLNEY ROAD, Lavendon - contractors blocking road, with traffic lights still working on 3x junctions - causing massive traffic delays and roads blocked with vehicles waiting at still red/green traffic lights - this is not allowed and needs council/highways management intervention - getting worse, because works now going past White cannons estate with another 95 more houses - this has to be done differently - surely it can't be legal what is being done??

Updates

  • This lorry blocks the road completely, the contractors say that they can block all of the road for 15mins [at a time], BUT they pull-in to their work-side after c.15mins of traffic waiting AND then wait for 30 seconds letting a few cars go and come-out for another 15mins and again and again ... it's chaos here // and the traffic lights go red, amber green on a 3x roads [it's a 3xway lights set], and so cars come through all sides and make it worse - absolute madness and chaos - MUST be stopped and managed better please
