+12 inch dia. Deep, unavoidable and dangerous potholes

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8784962.

There is a section between two points on this road where there are at least 10+ large diameter (10-20 inch) potholes, most of which are between 4-6 inches in depth. Almost all of them are unavoidable and extremely dangerous likely resulting in damage to vehicles and possible injuries if unable to evade.

Requires immediate intervention to prevent damages, injury and potential loss of life resulting from loss of vehicle control upon impact.

No images attached as stopping was not possible or safe to do so with the current condition of the road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
