Damaged tyre from pothole

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8782515.

The whole road is terrible however there is a particularly bad pot hole that’s getting bigger. Hard to avoid as the road is single way

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.

  • This whole stretch of road is horrendous, this pot hole in particular is going across the road - if you have a larger vehicle you will struggle to avoid this. It is very deep and will end up causing a lot of damage. With the cold and wet weather this is only going to get worse.

  • 5.2.26 driving along this single road my car hit a big pot hole which I didn't see as it was filled with water and as a result have ended up with two flat tyres as a result I managed to crawl back home to Deanshanger
