Footpath From 32 to 50 St Mary Green Needs Clearing

Reported via desktop in the Street Services category anonymously at 18:10, Tuesday 27 January 2026

Sent to Bromley Council 3 months, 2 weeks, 15 hours, 12 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 8781533.

The whole stretch of footpath needs leaves etc clearing up.

There is encroaching vegetation at various points along the retaining wall that adjoins this path - this needs cutting back.

There is a pile of earth outside No 44 that has washed down the embankment.

There is alot of sludge outside of No 38 that needs clearing -- it is very slippery here and at night as its a dark spot between street lights.

There is a lot of leaves/sludge surrounding the gully by No 48 that needs clearing - the surface water is unable to drain into this gully due to this and is thus draining away by flowing down the footpath instead. The actual gully seems clear its just that the water cant reach it.

  • Thank you for your update and for the works carried out so far - however:

Nothing seems to have been done about the encroaching vegetation (including stinging nettles) at various points along the retaining wall that adjoins this path - this needs cutting back.

Also nothing appears to have been done about There is a lot of leaves/sludge/stones etc surrounding the gully by No 48 that needs clearing (the actual kerb is very low at this point as well) - the surface water is unable to drain into this gully due to this and is thus draining away by flowing down the footpath instead. The actual gully seems clear its just that the water cant reach it. This needs to be actioned to stop the surface water from flooding down the footpath.
