Vehicle shown on Gov Check Tax site with a SORN. But it parked on a public road which is not allowed.

  • The vehicle was reported as being on the road on Jan 27th with a SORN. The gov.uk MOT website shows the vehicle with an MOT that expires: 16 October 2026.. If the vehicle was subsequently MOTd after the date of being reported on the SORN then surely the MOT would run from some time in Jan or Feb, etc., to some date in 2027 NOT start from October 2025. MOTs cannot be backdated so this appears at first site to be potential MOT. fraud/fake. Please investigate.
