Road sign post bent over and sticking out horizontally into the road

A road sign in the centre of the road on a traffic island has been hit and the post is bent down and sticking out horizontally into the road, this is potentially very dangerous as could hit a vehicle. Could not stop to take a photo.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and the site has been made safe and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
