As a town councillor for this area I've been contacted by local resident about this issue. Severe damage caused by cars parking on verges when collecting from Caldecott school. Fence inappropriate and broken. Needs alternative fix to prevent parking driving onto verges eg large bolders/ benches / alternative solution.

  • Just to note that the main concern in this was to do with accident prevention at/near the junction(s). If a way can also be found to protect grassed areas in the vicinity from the sort of damage they're seeing, then so much the better.
