Area around a drain cover has degraded on the entrance to Chicken Hall Lane

I noticed this issue with the drain while crossing the street by the roundabout please see attached picture and location for visual information on the report.

Note: I was unsure of the correct category for this report so used pothole. Regardless with the heavy traffic in the area being near an industrial street I am concerned it might degrade quickly.
