Blocked surface water drain blocked
Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8762903.
Every time it rains this drain by the pedestrian crossing is blocked meaning you have to quickly press the button & stand well back as cars splash you every time. I am fed up getting drenched I reported this over a year ago & still nothing has been done

Hertfordshire county council pull your finger out & fix this issue. This crossing is incredibly busy not that the subway next to Aldi is still flooded. This drain has been blocked for over 2 years what hope do we have on the subway pump being fixed this side of 2030 ?

This is an utter disgrace even after a 10 minute shower the drain is blocked so while waiting an eternity for the traffic lights to change you get splashed. Come on HCC get this drain cleared it’s a 10 minute job but it’s clear to see HCC don’t care.
