Drain full, previously reported 2023
Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 11:56, Sunday 25 January 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8762385.
When workmen came previously they put curbing at the back of the drains along this part of Main Street to help with flooding and grass verges being washed away. I was informed (by the team that we’re doing the works) that the underground pipe had collapsed near the entrance to ‘The cottage’ and this had to be replaced before the flooding issue could be resolved and curb stones would then be put at the back of the flooded drain. To my knowledge that underground pipe has not been replaced so there are still issues with flooding and now significant grass verges erosion.

Thank you for your report. Unfortunately, we were unable to complete the full repair due to difficulties accessing the area of concern. A permanent repair is already scheduled and will be carried out once access is resolved. There’s no need to submit an additional report, as the follow-up works are already logged in our system.
