Road condition has worsened a lot during current wet weather. The road is usually flooded, which obscures the multiple large potholes over an extended stretch of road, on both sides. Traffic often slows to about 10 mph, sometimes using hazard warning lights.. Some cars switch lanes (to no avail). The only warning is a uneven surface warning triangle which seems a bit inadequate in the circumstances. Road is used by cyclists.

I had a fall off my bike yesterday as it was impossible to avoid the holes as most of the road has fallen apart as you have left this problem for so long. This section of road is worsening by the day, it is so dangerous. You have had numerous reports which you continue to ignore. I went back to take photos which really don’t show quite how bad the road is as I don’t want anyone else to get seriously injured. I’m considering whether to look into legal action as my bike wheel was damaged and I hurt my leg in the fall.
