Disintegrated pavement

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 21:50, Friday 23 January 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8755297.

The single pavement along Highworth rd has effectively disintegrated rendering it very difficult to walk along. I believe this would be extremely difficult to negotiate with a pushchair or wheelchair. This pavement is used regularly for the nearby primary school & is becoming dangerous. As can be seen in the image there is no supporting kerb from the grass verge and the pavement is a noticeably lower level to the approaching pavement on either side of the damages pavement. It appears there is little to no tarmac structure.

This is shameful and needs to be resurfaced. If this was Oxford city this would be a priority. Why is Shrivenham treated differently?
