Brambles overhanging cycle path

Reported in the Trees overhanging highways category anonymously at 13:43, Tue 9 August 2016

Sent to Norfolk County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 875335.

Brambles overhanging cycle path as path passes Reffley School approx 15m north of the junction with the footpath through to Grafton Road. Brambles seem to originate from waste ground adjacent to the cyclepath and not from a particular garden. The brambles block about half of the path and hang from above into the head height zone for cyclists which is quite hazardous. Issue has been gradually worsening over the last couple of months as the brambles grow rapidly through the summer months.

Updates

  • This problem is not on Grafton Road but on the cycle path that runs from Reffley Lane to Earsham Drive.
