A pothole of approx. 15" diameter in The Leys

This pothole has been progressively getting larger and deeper over the past few months. It is located just inside The Leys (cul de sac) at the top of the road. The What Three Words location is: mills.december.declares.

This is now affecting the residents of the four bungalows when driving in/out of the cul de sac. The other day, an accident was narrowly avoided because I was trying to avoid the hole and drove slightly over to the right when a car was also approaching to turn in the cul de sac.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
