Thick mud accumulates on pavement opposite royal oak lane

There is a constant accumulation of thick mud on the pavement on main road opposite the entrance to royal oak lane where there is a dropped kerb. It is too large to step over and is worst in winter. This is a common footway for school and nursery children and this mud causes children and parents and prams to venture into the road to avoid it, else getting dirty or risk slipping over. Please either help prevent this or include regular cleaning of this area when street cleaning happens.
