Overhanging hedges
Reported via iOS in the Trees/Hedges Overhanging Roads Or Footpaths category anonymously at 08:57, Thursday 22 January 2026
Sent to Hull City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8740557.
The hedges are overhanging forcing pedestrians onto the grass which at the minute is like slop, with mobility scooters and prams using it everyday it’s becoming difficult. I’m willing to help by doing a litter pick in the area with my kids to tidy up but the hedges have always been been a problem and could do with cutting back quite a lot if possible

Still over hanging in places and there’s plenty of the path hidden which would benefit everyone walking there if it was accessible rather than having to use the sloppy wet grass and some of the branches have sharp thorns

We need more people affected by this to report it, 4 months I’ve been waiting and not even a reply from anyone at the council and the mixture of rain and sunshine is just going to make it worse
