Stratford Road Footpath, poorly maintained

Reported via desktop in the Other damage to pavement i.e. cobbles, raised mound/surface category anonymously at 19:14, Wednesday 21 January 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8738248.

The footpath that runs the length of the Stratford Road between Furrow way and Long Marston Road is very rarely maintained, often gets flooded during heavy rain due to lack of kerbs, which then ends up ankle deep in wet mud and water, this path get used a lot, Children walking to school bus stops etc, and there are businesses at the bottom of the road which will be loosing custom due to this, I often see children walking in the road to avoid the excessively muddy sections!, since the road got resurfaced the pavement now sits lower than the road, due to the lack of kerbs and collapsed grass verges, all the mud and water just flows straight down the path. Hopfeully this can be addressed as an urgent case. Thank you.
