Near the fence of the gooseberry Park, down the flyover, the entry entry of the Lionel Road

Reported via mobile in the Pothole or other defect category by Efim Kolodkin at 16:42, Wednesday 21 January 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Hounslow Highways 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8733411.

During and after rainfall, a significant amount of water accumulates in this area. This happens in part due to a clogged drainage grate, more precisely the stormwater drain. Although the drain was recently cleaned by DBT, a layer of dirt and sediment remains, and the drainage system requires cleaning once again.

Additionally, the grate itself needs to be cleaned separately, as it is currently blocked. Because of the accumulated dirt and possibly due to the slope of the road, water does not drain properly and a large puddle forms.

As a result, vehicles pass through this area at high speed and do not have time to slow down. When they drive through the puddle, water is splashed onto the sidewalk. I regularly get completely splashed with dirty water, literally from head to toe. This creates an unsafe and unacceptable situation for pedestrians.

This puddle needs to be eliminated. I ask that the situation be assessed comprehensively and that appropriate measures be taken to resolve the drainage issue and ensure pedestrian safety
