Deep wide pothole impossible to avoid if there in oncoming traffic

Hit this pothole on the evening of 15th January about 5pm and it destroyed the passenger side tyre, damaged my alloy rim, and knocked out my wheel alignment. I met two other people at Thames view tyres who had hit the same pothole who also needed repairs
