Large number of potholes

Large number of potholes together and all joining up. It was never the best bit of road surface after many bits of piecemeal patching in the past but the work of the power contractors (Durkin) there with heavy machinery (Lorries, diggers, dump trucks etc) and effects of winter have made it significantly worse and holes are impossible to avoid! It needs some repair - is proper repair a responsibility of the contractor too?
