Speeding

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Donald Muffett at 08:22, Fri 5 August 2016

Sent to Norfolk County Council 3 minutes later

The Speed limit through the settlement of Clippesby is 40MPH, I think this should be 30MPH, however, the size of the settlement apparently does not permit this. Unfortunately drivers do not adhere to 40MPH. This makes it difficult for residents to get out of their driveways , A serious accident is an everday likelihood . An accident, one of many, recently occurred at the junction of the A1064 and the B1152. We need a regular Police Speed Check in this area as most of the road users are regulars and a few fines would soon sort the problem out and provide useful revenue to provide fixed cameras.
