Deep pothole on left hand side before dip.

Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 14:23, Tuesday 20 January 2026

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8728837.

The whole of the road coming out of Woodford Halse towards Byfield is awful with multiple potholes causing cars to go into the middle of the road if they see them, however at the moment they are filled with water. A little further down just before “the dip” on the left hand side (going towards Byfield) is a deep pot hole and if you hit it it will cause damage, also hard to go around it because of the location not being able to see properly ahead.

  • I hit this pot hole on Saturday. Causing a double blow out and damaging two rims on my car. I hit it approaching Woodford at the top of the dip and didn’t see it to avoid it.
