Updates

  • Thank you for your enquiry. This issue has been passed onto the relevant team for investigation.

    State changed to: Investigating

Posted by Oxfordshire County Council at 19:40, Monday 19 January 2026

  • We have carefully reviewed your recent complaint regarding a vehicle parking on a particular section of the footpath. After looking into the details, we are a bit puzzled as to why any vehicle would be parking in this area, as the edgings at the driveway access have been properly chamfered down to facilitate entry and exit for vehicles. The section you highlighted, however, is intended solely for foot traffic, and is not designed to accommodate parking.

Based on our findings, we believe this area should only be used by pedestrians. As such, we are now closing your complaint. If you have any additional information or concerns that you feel we may have missed, please feel free to reach out—we are always happy to review further details.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for helping us keep our pathways safe and accessible for everyone.
