Cars left for months by local garage

There are about 20 - 25 cars that have been left parked in French Street and Reid Street by one of the car garages on the corner. They arrive on low loaders.

Many of the cars are old accident damaged with writing of numbers in the windscreen. This is exacerbating existing parking capacity issues in the area and affecting local homes and businesses.

The cars get left for months or years at a time. Where they are untaxed we try to report them to DVLA but it is impossible to keep up. Many have no MOT, potentially they are sitting waiting on repairs that get postponed or are used as donor cars for parts. A couple of previous ones were uplifted as abandoned but only after repeated reporting.
