Hello, I just wanted to highlight how dangerous these two pot holes are on the A40 by Eynsham as you approach the roundabout near to the petrol station. I hit these on my motorbike Saturday evening, such was the force of the impact it snapped my brackets to my top box which was sent flying through the air narrowly missing the cars coming the other way. As for me I was very shaken by this, still do not know how I managed to stay on my motorbike. The impact snapped the handle bars temporarily out of my grip causing me to have a huge speed wobble. On the near side is another large pothole. These potholes are on the driving line and are very dangerous.

The hole is very deep and you virtually have to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid. Terrible!

Hit this on Wednesday night. Took two tyres out. I managed to pull off at the roundabout and another car had just hit the same hole with the same result. This is a joke. Why can't you put up a sign to warn drivers at least before you eventually get round to fixing it. This is going to cause a major accident.

I hit this pothole as I pulled into the services on Thursday 22nd of January, causing significant damage to my driver side front wheel and tyre. It’s a huge hole and extremely dangerous to have it directly in the line of exit into the service station with no warnings.

I hit this pothole in the dark and wet last night (27/1) and had to be recovered by the AA. This needs fixing ASAP before there is a serious injury.

Why isn't this being dealt with as an emergency repair , only just managed to avoid these potholes this afternoon

This pair of deep potholes gashed both of my offside tyres and immediate flats, last weekend.

Why hasn’t this been fixed as a priority, it’s a massive crater, it’s only a matter of time before a serious injury happens as a result of it

It looks like someone may have been out and just tipped loose tarmac into the series of craters in this area, rather than doing a proper repair. Less than a day later, the holes were fully exposed again.
Oxfordshire County Council have a duty of care to ensure that roads are fit for purpose, passable and safe. This area meets none of these criteria and it is a matter of time before someone has a serious accident. This is technically a 60mph speed limit, and hitting any of these holes at this speed has the potential to spin a car into oncoming traffic.
Anything less than a proper and lasting repair is unacceptable.

Also had 2 tires instantly bursting on the driver side. Managed to get home but had to get towed to a garage next day. Very dangerous even with visibility... needs to clearly signaled and fixed asap. Note: this was actually commented on BBC Oxford by Sophie Law a few days ago.

15th Feb and still there this evening. Can’t believe these haven’t been dealt with. I was lucky to avoid but looked very dangerous for this stretch of road

This hole shot me into oncoming traffic thismorning on my commute to work considering the number of reports and the length of time this has been on here it's utterly ridiculous im just glad I wasn't on my motobike
