Standing water on 2 bends due to waterlogged fields

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8712331.

2 years ago this issue caused a car to skid when the water froze causing black ice, the car overturned into the ditch. Last year it happened again, a car ended up in the ditch on the opposite side. This year the water is still not draining & froze a few weeks ago, another accident will happen.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
