Numerous new potholes along the whole road

The recent rain/snow has made the road worse and created more potholes. The road needs resurfacing rather than potholes being filled in which then reappear over time.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

It's been less than 6 weeks and it's already significantly worsened. By 26 weeks the road will be a gravel path.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - We can confirm that we have already been made aware of this issue. A works order has been raised which you can follow on FMS-8711522-1 . The expected completion date for these works will be 23/07/2026.

Significant potholes on Ruskin Road which pose obvious safety risks for motorcycles and cyclists. Timescale of July 2026 is not reasonable given the safety risks posed and the fact this pothole in particular was raised in January 2026. Please escalate.
