  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

  • These potholes are now significantly more dangerous. I tried to avoid them today but my car wheel went down the long deep hole and was damaged. The impact caused me to swerve. Fortunately I managed to avoid other traffic. Vehicles are being damaged and potentially people will be injured. The potholes are very deep just before the roundabout. They need priority urgent repair. It cannot wait 59 days or even 26 weeks!

  • It’s 24th April 2026 and these potholes have yet to be fixed! What happened to the council’s 1st of April completion date?
