Incorrect Disable Bay Parking
Reported via mobile in the Incorrect category anonymously at 15:55, Saturday 17 January 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8709484.
Hello, Outside 521 Whitehall Road, BS57DA There is now a incorrect and unused disable bay. Sadly Arther Blay passed away in June 2024, but his Disable Bay remains. So there is a parking space on a very congested part of the road which local residents can not use. Please can it be removed so there are more parking spaces available.
Thank you.

Thank you for contacting us concerning the redundant disabled parking bay outside 521 Whitehall Road, Bristol, BS5 7DA
I can confirm that this disabled parking bay has been added to our list of redundant disabled road markings for removal.
Please note that this disabled parking bay is advisory and cannot be enforced.
The disabled parking bay can be used by any vehicle irrespective of whether a driver or occupant holds a Disabled Blue Badge and Blue Badge holders are under no obligation to display their badges while parking in these spaces
As the disabled parking bay is advisory, the removal of these road markings is of a low priority and may be carried out as and when time and finance allows.
