Huge 18 meter long puddle spears when there is heavy rain has caused grass verge to collapse and also pavement is collapsed and damaged in one place.

Reported via mobile in the Blocked Drain category anonymously at 20:33, Friday 16 January 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8705606.

Huge 18 meter long puddle appears in heavy rain as the drain doesn’t work properly. It’s a nightmare for pedestrians to pass because cars driving through spray up the deep water onto passers by, the pavement and the garden ans car of the property facing the puddle. There is damage to the grass verge it looks like it has sunk down below the level of the Kirb stone. The pavement also has a hole in by this collapsed verge. The kirb is a trip hazard and so is the pavement pot hole. This puddle has been reported several times. Each time the council say that the issue is fixed. Then the time it rains the enormous puddle reappears. Pedestrians have to wait watch traffic and run the length of ut to avoid being drenched. The rest of the pavement is also heaven and full of deep puddles in rain.
