Residents not informed of road eorks!!

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8698702.
Major road and pavement works at the top of my street. NO notice given to residents at all. Whether it’s emergency or planned works, residents should have been told access to our road would be dangerous!! They towed two cars yesterday with no warning. A simple note thru the letterbox or a notice on the street. Extremely frustrating. Difficult to be understanding to the workers when access to our small road is dangerous.
