Tree Roots raising the pavement to a dangerous level
Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 15:59, Fri 29 July 2016 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Rugby Borough Council 1 minute later
The tree roots have lifted the pavement very dangerously approximately 4-6 inches and very nearly tipped my mobility scooter over. The tree is on the Clifton Road between the Main Gates to Whinfield Park and Butlin Road. The tree in question is on the Park side just past the bus shelter and a lot of these trees require looking at as the roots on some of them are getting dangerous.

I have again reported this to RBC and received an E-Mail back stating that this is WCC to repair this. All that has been done is that it has been marked in yellow paint about 4-6 weeks ago but nothing has been done. This requires URGENT REPAIR as elderly people have to try and pass this to get to the bus stop and I have to try to cross this in my mobility scooter as it is usually impossible to pass this tree on the roadside due to ignorant motorists parking on the pavement to use the shop opposite.I await your action on this as it has been going on far too long without any action happening.

The footpath opposite the PO has been repaired but the marked places outside No 2 Townsend Road and on the Junction of Townsend/Clifton Road have been IGNORED even though they are marked in YELLOW PAINT.The contractors drove straight by without stopping to repair this.I was informed by phone 3-4 weeks ago this would be sorted please get it repaired.

Nothing at all has been done to the pavement outside No 2 Townsend Road or the marked place just before No 2.The phone call I received and the promises from WCC came to NOTHING as usual.I expect this MIGHT get repaired after someone has a fall and gets injured due to the NEGLIGENCE on WCC's part.
