  • This drain has now broken up and has caused a large pothole. Cars are swerving on to the opposite side of the road to avoid this.

  • The kerb stones have now become displaced and some are in carriageway that at best will cause damage to a vehicle, at worse could fly up when hit and kill some one if it goes through window screen. Very narrow here and not always able to drive on wrong side of road

  • Currently marked with some traffic cones

  • This is so dangerous. There needs to be a permanent fence in place.

  • Traffic cone is in the verge and the humongous hole is just left bare. SERIOUSLY dangerous and someone is going to have a bad accident soon and it will be all because we don't pay our taxes... Oh no wait, we do pay them but nobody can be bothered to fix the pot holes.

  • This is getting bigger by the day, soon will cause a terrible accident.

  • Damage to car- £100.00 to repair!! Local driver, knew it was there but unable to avoid due to oncoming traffic.

  • As reported above. Serious damage to car – destroyed tire and possibly a buckled wheel also, waiting to find out. Hole is unmarked and impossible to avoid on a busy and narrow road with 50mph limit.

  • Possibly need a new wheel according to Charlbury Garage due to this. Hole is around 7 inches deep. Had to go back in order to get pictures today to send to the Highways Agency - incredibly dangerous. Buses, vans, cars and motorbikes suddenly swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid the hole. Police came past - said there was nothing they could do. Like others had said, this could potentially kill someone. Shocking that this has been happening since the 14th January and there has been no action.

  • Still there, wider and deeper exposing yellow rubble. Very dangerous. Not been investigated or marked up by the council. Seriously dangerous.

Cone knocked out of place, slabs of rubble in the road.

    Improperly replaced first time round.

  • Still unfixed and unmarked as of 02/02/26. Very dangerous with rubble spread across the road. Fortunately when I hit it last week, it didn’t damage my car, and now I know to expect it. Others will not be so lucky and this could cause a very serious accident.
