Gullets comprehensively blocked all way from uplands down to orchard lane Road being washed away by river

Reported via mobile in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 16:02, Wednesday 14 January 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8688357.

Why have you stopped doing this range of rd ?its responsible for all problems lower down and for collapse of adjoining bank by Woodbridge All the mud is being carried down rd. Recently AGAIN!! you do the lower gulleys on old boars hill but not the upper ones WHICH ARE THE MAIN PROBLEM AS YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD BY MANY PEOPLE. You used to do them why not now it’s been years . This really is unacceptable we pay our council tax like everyone else As it is no gritting done up here so water on surface of decomposing roads is not ideal for residents when it’s icy. When it rains the river of water heading down hill is also pouring into some sort of BT hub ( I think) that’s opposite turning to orchard lane ( manhole thing in the road surface that water flows into as manhole appears not to have been closed properly) The large rivers of water are also eroding big holes in the road surface

  • I notice you have white marked some of the potholes for repair in this area but still no sign of water gulleys being unblocked between uplands and yew cottage on old boars hill . THERE IS NO PONT FIXING POTHOLES PRIOR TO GULLEYS BEING UNBLOCKED AS WHEN IT RAINS ITS ON A HILL AND TURNS INTO A RIVER AND WASHES AWAY THE ROAD SERVICE
