Large Pothole by Edge of Manhole Cover
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8686458.
Reporting this pothole once again as it continues to grow in size and depth but has not yet been accepted as a defect.
As you will see the pothle is now rather large is size and depth and a bicycle wheel and possibly some motorcycle wheels can fit inside it making it very dangeorus.
Additionally it has exposed the corner of a cast iron manhole cover which highly increases the risk of damage to vehicle tyres.
Please can the area around the manhole cover have a patch resurfacing repair carried out

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
