Illegal parking
Reported in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 19:26, Thu 28 July 2016 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 868559.
I moved in 8 months ago and there has been non stop illegal parking since I moved in. The white lines have recently been repainted and completely ignored. Today the bin truck couldn't get through because of parking both sides of the road, obstructing the junction and parking half on and half off the path, or completely on the path sometimes. Most of the offending cars have council parking permits too!

Vehicles parked in either a dangerous position or in a manner as to cause an obstruction are committing an offence under Section 22 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and should therefore be reported to Thames Valley Police so that enforcement can take place.

Issue is recurring. Can there be yellow lines painted on road as parking is taking place again and is a serious issue. Willing to meet on site

This is a recurring problem. The area where cars park is causing issues for larger vehicles . It is highways not Sovereign Housing issue. Could double yellows be extended to cover the area. and a bollard on the corner. Willing to meet on site to discuss

Can we please meet on site to look at issue as fire appliance would not be able to access the flats if there was a fire. Also the bin lorry cannot access and we had to call police again as we could not access our offices due to double parking. This is an urgent issue please?
