20 inch pothole

This very pothole has split my tyre today at 16:30 on 13/01/26, whilst driving down Farncombe Road in Worthing. There is no ring around it stating it’s there. In wet and low light weather this looks like water on the road. As this is a 2 way street and it is only wide enough for 2 cars, this hole will be unavoidable.
