Huge amount of flytipped refuse on Worthing Street

Reported via iOS in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 18:06, Tuesday 13 January 2026

Sent to Hull City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8682207.

Lots of bin liners filled with household waste have been dumped in the alleyway between 127 and 129 Worthing Street. Stray cats and crows have been rifling through them looking for food. Fly tipping in this location is becoming a regular occurrence now.

Updates

  • I have raised a request for the fly-tipped waste to be removed within five working days.

  • The bags were removed by the council, but even more were dumped there a few days later. Needs CCTV installing as a deterrent, as it’s disgusting down there.
