Road markings severely faded
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8674043.
It's really difficult to see the road markings at night, particularly when it's damp. This has led to the car in front of me slamming on its brakes when a car approaches from the other direction on several occasions. As well as the lines in the centre of the road, it'd be worth putting lines on the outside of the road to aid visibility. I reported this a while ago and was told it would be fixed last year.

Should the issue pose an immediate danger to public safety such as:-
•Objects on the highway network (i.e. a fallen tree)
•Faulty temporary or permanent traffic lights (i.e. stuck on red)
•Exposed cables
•Multiple street lighting faults
•Flooded roads

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
