Multipule Pot holes in road

Reported via desktop in the A pothole in road category anonymously at 16:12, Monday 12 January 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8671792.

Between 1 - 76 Nine Elms road there are multiple potholes. Coupled with the amount of on street parking it is sometimes impossible to evade them. Some have been enlarged by the heavy coach traffic that uses the road in & out for Sir Thomas Richs School. Most have been in the road 12+ months.

Updates

  • Thank you for reporting a pothole.

First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.

In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
