Crumbling speed hump and potholes

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category by Ray Ward at 09:17, Monday 12 January 2026

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8669962.

There are numerous potholes along West End but this particular speed hump is the worst. Two pot holes on the edges of the speed hump were crudely patched in December and had failed within a week. If you employ teams to carry out repairs their work should be randomly checked for quality of repair, it is tax payers money being squandered.

  • Not fixed and potholes getting worse by the day. Motorist fed up with lack of action by the council

  • PLEASE HELP! If this was Lincolnshire, then Lincolnshire County Council would now be providing prompt, comprehensive, and publicly-available updates to this report, right here on the FixMyStreet website, for everybody to see. Unfortunately, Norfolk County Council don't do that (and they even try to discourage people from actually using FixMyStreet)! Please SIGN THE PETITITION, to urge Norfolk County Council to start collaborating with FixMyStreet, in the same way as Lincolnshire County Council is doing!
