This was reported several times previously, and has allegedly been temporarily fixed previously before - obviously by an incredibly sub-standard and incompetent sub-contractor as the hole is now much deeper and wider! There is a danger of tyres blowing out, damage to suspension arms etc and possible impacting health and safety issues due to highly probably vehicle accidents!
Oxfordshire County Council receives £19 million annually in revenue funding to maintain its highways and roads, which is primarily funded through my, and other road users, council tax.
Additionally, Oxford County Council has also secured new funding of more than £50 million for highway maintenance in the 2025/26 financial year.
Other than sheer incompetence, or deliberate obstruction/malfeasance, there is no excuse for the Oxfordshire roads being properly maintained.

I hear constant thuds from my house every time a motorist who doesn’t know it’s there drive over it. Again, a death trap for a motorcyclist or cyclist. And potentially expensive bills for motorists. Sort it out and sort it out properly. Not some substandard filling that allows water in and for it to open up again. OCC you should be ashamed of yourselves. You could potentially have death on your hands. Hurry up and sort it.

PLEASE!! For the love of God, fix this properly. It's been bodged at least twice now and in the dark this thing is deadly! It's huge, I hit it again tonight.

This pothole was partly repaired - only filling the deepest part - today at 9am when I returned 2hours later the pothole had already dipped and in no time it will be needing another repair. When will it be repaired properly!!

As mentioned by a previous person, this appears to be another temporary repair which is dipping again. Photo taken today showing this will need doing properly again soon. How many repairs can one pothole have?

This pothole is dangerous, I’ve recently moved to the area and shocked that it’s been allowed to be left for as long as it has
